Common questions

What people ask about Plutio

Straight answers to what buyers actually ask, drawn from the documentation and published user reports.

Is the AppSumo lifetime deal still available?
No. The AppSumo lifetime deal for Plutio is currently unavailable (listed as 'unavailable' on AppSumo as of May 2026). Historical deals offered £39-£49 for lifetime access to the Team Plan. Secondary markets (ltdlover.com, appsumoltd.com) resell accounts, but Plutio does not honour transfers and requires new account setup. Going forward, new users pay monthly subscriptions: £19/month (Core), £49/month (Pro), or £55/month (Premier).
Does Plutio have true automation?
No, not in the way the marketing website suggests. Plutio automates proposal-to-project creation with pre-filled tasks and milestone workflows. Beyond that, there is no internal trigger-condition-action automation engine. For automated workflows, Plutio directs users to third-party tools (Zapier, Make, Pabbly, Integrately) via webhooks and APIs. If true internal automation is critical to your workflow, this is a significant limitation.
How many team members can I invite?
Core plan: 0 team members (solo use only, up to 9 active clients). Pro plan: 30 contributors included. Premier/Max plan: unlimited team members. Additional contributors beyond the plan limit incur extra fees or require upgrading to the next tier.
Can I edit proposals after sending?
No. Once a proposal is sent to a client, you cannot edit it within Plutio. If changes are needed, you must delete the proposal and create a new one. This is a frequently cited pain point in user reviews and has been on the roadmap for improvement but remains unresolved as of May 2026.
Is there an email inbox integration?
No native email inbox exists. Plutio is building this feature and it was scheduled for late 2021 according to older roadmap posts, but it has not been released. You cannot manage client emails directly within Plutio; email communication must happen outside the platform or via integrated third-party email tools.
How does the white-label feature work?
All plans include basic white-labelling (custom logo, colours, domain on client portals and proposals). To use your own email address for client communication (e.g., hello@yourdomain.com instead of hello@plutio.com), you must enable the white-label add-on, which costs £9/month extra. This requirement frustrates users who expect email branding to be included in the base plan.
